Rave, EDC application

The Electronic Data Capture-Operational Data Model (eDC-ODM) is the integration process of eCRFs (electronic case report forms) data that has been stored in the Medidata rave system to the ODM (operational data model) database for the consumption of downstream applications in Quintiles. Medidata & Oracle exposes several web service interfaces to allow extraction of data (Meta Data, Admin Data and Transaction Data). The application developed provides a web interface to add trials in the quintiles system and download the studies though web service calls. It consists of three main components which are responsible for download and processing. The Subject Data Hub application integrates various subject data components such as ODM, Lab, ECG, SDM and QDAPT into a unified, simplified product. SDH application consists of two components SDH Administration and the Study dataflow Configuration. SDH Administration supports Administration activities such as Group Management, Role Management, Group Security and User Security aspects. Study Dataflow Configuration provides an interface to add/update/delete a data source and to add/update/delete a dataflow location.

In an effort to decrease Fraud, PayPal is enhancing its debit card offering by providing a single/multi use Secure Card Numbers. The product would allow customers to use a unique debit card number for single use secure card number and for multi use the card number will not be unique. The VDC 2.0 primary objectives are: VDC 2.0 (Plug-In) provides business benefits such that it can be marketed fully without calling it a “Beta”. View the Secure Cards generated, their details like secure card attributes, Expiration date, type of CPN (Single vs. Multi use), Amount, Date, Status, Merchant site will be displayed. Multi Use Secure cards have no Authorization limits whereas Single Use Secure Cards have Authorization limit as 4.
