Nature and wildlife photographer
From STEM to STEAM….I'm an analytics tech geek who took up photography as a hobby in 2018. My love for the outdoors, and STEM come together when I am out with my camera. I love catching those fleeting moments that we don't see with our naked eyes - a bird in a distance tree feeding its hatchling, osprey fighting, heron turning a huge fish so they can swallow it head first, those few seconds thirty minutes after sunset when the sky turns pink. I was selling my photography as a hobby, then in 2023 it was time to turn my passion into a small business.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's career trajectory shows a blend of deep technical roles (Biostatistician, Consulting Statistician) and significant leadership/management positions (Director, VP). The recent venture into photography as an owner indicates an entrepreneurial spirit and diverse interests. While the core experience aligns with data analysis, the extensive management background might suggest a preference for strategic oversight rather than hands-on data analysis. The long tenure at SAS and SAP indicates loyalty and adaptability within large organizations. The transition from senior management to a Data Analyst role requires careful consideration of cultural fit regarding day-to-day responsibilities and expectations.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership, strategic planning, and team-building skills through roles like Director of Product Management and Director of Advanced Analytics. Experience in coordinating with service delivery teams and leading advisory panels indicates strong collaboration and communication abilities. The focus on improving customer experience and driving analytics culture suggests a proactive and results-oriented operational fit.
