Network Intrusion Detection Using Ensemble Machine Learning Techniques

Built a machine learning based intrusion detection system on the NSL-KDD and CIC-IDS 2017 datasets, covering DoS, Probe, R2L and U2R attack categories. Applied PCA for dimensionality reduction and trained Decision Tree, Random Forest and SVM classifiers, with Random Forest giving the best accuracy. Evaluated models using precision, recall and F1-score.
