Software to presence detector (C Project)
February 1, 2013 – May 1, 2013
The program configures operation of the STM microcontroller, that manages the hardware part of the presence detector. The purpose of the detector is to detect the position of objects in the observation area using infrared light. Device works on the basis of the optical sensor (light barrier) work principle. Program sends all collected data to a computer through the USB port.
[Master Thesis] Simulation software for low-coherent beam scattering on a glass fibre (MATLAB project)
January 1, 2013 – June 1, 2013
The program calculates and presents an image of the light scattering phenomenon as a function of light intensity and scattering angle. Program uses 35 customizable parameters and Mie scattering theory for calculations. All parameters and generated 2D image are available from the interactive GUI.
Software to search for the optimal solutions (C++ Project)
October 1, 2012 – December 1, 2012
The program has implemented local and global search methods of optimal solutions for defined functions and limitations. Among the global methods is genetic method and simulated annealing method.
Software to bike computer (C Project)
February 1, 2012 – May 1, 2012
The program configures operation of the MSP microcontroller. Based on interrupts generated by the connected reed switch, the program calculates current, average and maximum speed and trip distance. Bike computer is also equipped with a real-time clock with time setting function. The device communicates with the user by means of two buttons and the LCD screen.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a long tenure at Nokia Networks, indicating loyalty and ability to thrive in a large corporate environment. Their project experience, while technically strong, is heavily focused on embedded systems, telecommunications, and low-level programming. The target role is 'Data Analyst', which is a significant shift from their core experience. While they have a Master's thesis involving simulation software and data presentation (MATLAB), their professional experience does not explicitly highlight data analysis, statistical modeling, or modern data science tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL for analytics, visualization tools). This suggests a potential mismatch with the typical responsibilities and skill set required for a Data Analyst role, which might impact cultural fit within a data-centric team.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience as a Feature Leader and Specification Engineer at Nokia Networks suggests strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills within a technical context. Their involvement in research work, gathering requirements, and leading implementation indicates a proactive and structured approach to project execution. The description of presenting finished features to stakeholders also points to good presentation and interpersonal skills. However, without specific psychometric test results, a deeper assessment of stress handling or team collaboration is not possible.
