Wavelength Control of Photoinduced Charge Transfer in a π-Conjugated Molecular Photodiode
January 1, 2012 – January 1, 2014
• A series of tetra-thiophene and oligo-phenyleneethynylene (PE) based diblock oligomers were synthesized and probed for wavelength selective excitation for the purpose of creating a long-lived charge transfer state using selective excitation; • The efficiency of charge transfer significantly diminished with increasing PE length due to competition with fluorescence and intersystem crossing; • The diblock oligomers demonstrated potentials in making molecular-scale electronics.
Polymer Based Chromophore-Catalyst Assembly for Solar Energy Generation
January 1, 2011 – January 1, 2014
• A polystyrene-based chromophore-catalyst assembly has been prepared and applied at a metal oxide photoanode. It is the first reported polymer assembly; for artificial photosynthesis applications; • The photophysical, electrochemical properties and energy/electron transfer processes of this polymer assembly were investigated; • The polymer was immobilized onto mesoporous semiconductor substrates (TiO2 or SnO2/TiO2) by “Layer-by-Layer” (LbL) method to build photo anode and DSPEC devices; • Polymer assembly deposited photoanode demonstrated to be capable of organic alcohols and water harvesting and converting lights energy into fuel by oxidizing organic

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's career progression shows a strong drive for leadership and innovation within the AI/Data Science domain. Their diverse project experience, ranging from academic research in chemistry/polymer science to practical applications in finance and healthcare, indicates adaptability and a broad intellectual curiosity. The target role of 'Data Analyst' might be a step down from their recent leadership positions (Director/Senior Director of AI & Advanced Analytics), which could impact cultural fit if the role does not offer sufficient scope for strategic input and advanced analytics. However, their early career as a Data Analyst and a project on 'Data Mining of Amazon Website' show foundational alignment. The breadth of skills and project types suggests a candidate who can thrive in dynamic, data-driven environments.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience descriptions highlight strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills. They have fostered innovation, managed teams, and streamlined processes, indicating a good operational fit for roles requiring both technical depth and managerial oversight. Certifications in 'Building Your Visibility Online as a Remote Leader', 'Speaking Confidently and Effectively', and 'Be the Manager People Won't Leave' further support strong soft skills and leadership potential.
