Data and AI Resource Manager - FDE staffing team
I am at the crossroads between technology and health sciences. My background is in software engineering and I have worked at Microsoft helping our clients in digital transformation. Eleven years ago my focus shifted to the health sciences and I have gained knowledge in clinical treatment, pharmacology, public health, genetics and regulatory science. I am also a social entrepreneur, two years ago I founded Fundation 29 where we research how artificial intelligence can improve the lives of people with rare diseases by making precision medicine real. We are currently working on a platform of assisted diagnosis for rare diseases. Since I discovered the potential of machine learning I only see models and neural networks everywhere. In my free time I run marathons (I have already completed 14 marathons) and try to keep my flying license, but always putting my family as a priority in my life.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's diverse experience across corporate (Microsoft) and non-profit/healthcare sectors (Foundation Twenty-nine, European Medicines Agency, Dravet Syndrome Foundation) suggests adaptability and a broad perspective. Their involvement in initiatives like Microsoft Disaster Response and accessibility indicates a commitment to social impact. However, the direct alignment with a hands-on 'Software Engineer' role, particularly in a startup or highly agile environment, is not strongly evident from the provided data, which primarily highlights management and strategic roles. The 'Wacean' project is a personal project with no listed technologies, making it difficult to assess technical depth.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership, resource management, and strategic planning skills from their extensive tenure at Microsoft. Their involvement in various foundations and committees suggests strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. The roles indicate an operational fit for managing technical teams and projects, though direct hands-on software engineering experience is not explicitly detailed in recent roles.
