VP of Product & Head of Open Source | Ex: Meta, Google, Amazon
I'm the VP of Product & Head of Open Source at Reflection AI, where I'm building the product vision and open-source ecosystem for the next generation of frontier AI. My focus is on making powerful models not just performant, but genuinely open, composable, and accessible to the developers and researchers pushing intelligence forward. Before Reflection, I spent years at Meta shaping the strategy behind some of the most consequential open AI efforts in the industry. As a Product Director at Super Intelligence Labs, I led product across Llama, PyTorch, and Meta's broader agentic AI stack—spanning reinforcement learning, distributed compute, and edge deployment. Earlier, as part of FAIR (Fundamental AI Research), I founded the AI for Science org, bridging frontier research with real-world impact across domains like protein folding, materials discovery, and complex reasoning systems. One principle has been consistent across all of it: superintelligence should be open, safe, and accessible to everyone. Openness creates resilience, diversity of ideas, and faster progress—values that defined PyTorch, shaped Meta's AI leadership, and now drive my work at Reflection. I'm also an angel investor and advisor to early-stage startups building frontier AI systems, open models, and developer tools. I enjoy helping founders navigate product-market fit, technical strategy, and community growth—especially those who share a vision for openness and long-term ecosystem impact. At the intersection of research, infrastructure, and product, I'm focused on building the connective tissue for the next era of AI—an agentic, collaborative, and distributed intelligence that scales from labs to the world.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate demonstrates a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a broad network within the AI and tech startup ecosystem. Their involvement in various advisory and investor roles, coupled with leadership positions at major tech companies, suggests adaptability and a proactive approach to industry trends. The co-founding of the AI Learning Alliance indicates a commitment to diversity and equity, aligning with positive cultural values. However, the target role of 'FPGA Developer' is highly specialized and hands-on, which contrasts with the candidate's recent strategic and product-focused career trajectory. While their early career included VLSI design, the long gap in direct hardware development might pose a cultural fit challenge for a purely development-focused role.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's extensive experience in leadership, product management, and advisory roles suggests strong communication, strategic thinking, and collaboration skills. Their involvement in founding the AI Learning Alliance and guest lecturing indicates a commitment to knowledge sharing and community building. However, the resume primarily highlights product and strategic roles, with less emphasis on hands-on technical implementation in recent years, which might require further assessment for an FPGA Developer role.
