Program/Project Management, Engineering Management, Startups, DevRel, Agile, OKRs, Cloud - ex-Google, ex-Amazon, ex-Microsoft
With over 25 years of experience in sofware development, software engineering, agile methodologies, and cloud computing, I am passionate about leading and serving great teams. I’m based in São Paulo but open to work anywhere in Brazil and I can also travel for work. At Google, I Ied a team responsible for executing scalable developer outreach and startup support programs in Latin America. My mission was to empower and enable the local tech ecosystem with the best tools, platforms, and practices that Google has to offer, fostering innovation, diversity, and social impact. As a Startup and Developer Relations Senior Program Manager, I oversaw some of the most important programs in the region, such as Google for Startups Accelerator, Google Communities, Google Developer Experts, Mentors Program, and Google Cloud for Startups initiative. Supported more than 500 startups and tens of thousands of developers across Brazil, Spanish LATAM, USA and Europe. At Amazon, Microsoft and my banking and tech consulting experiences I always collaborated with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external) and customers to support them in reaching their goals. I also leveraged my skills and expertise in Agile, Cloud, Mobile and Server-Side development to write code, mentor, coach and teach software developers and entrepreneurs, as well as to contribute to events in the field.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a diverse background working across major tech companies, financial institutions, and academic settings, indicating adaptability. Their experience in developer outreach and community building suggests a collaborative and outward-facing approach. However, the target role is 'Backend Engineer', and the recent experience leans heavily towards program management and consulting, which might not align directly with a hands-on coding cultural fit for a pure engineering role.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership, program management, and communication skills through their extensive experience in evangelism and program management roles. Their background in Agile coaching and process improvement suggests an operational fit for driving efficiency and best practices. However, the resume primarily highlights management and evangelism, with less recent direct backend engineering work.
