Founder & CTO @ Pruna AI
As the Co-Founder and CTO of Pruna AI, I am leading the development of a cutting-edge optimization platform that reduces AI costs, times, memory, and carbon emissions by 2-to-10x. Pruna AI was funded by the Exist Government Program and won the AI+Munich Startup Competition, demonstrating our innovative and impactful vision. I have a strong background in computer science and machine learning, with a Master of Science degree in Data Engineering and Analytics from the Technical University of Munich (High Distinction) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from USEK (Distinction). I have contributed to state-of-the-art research in academia and industry, such as the full reimplementation of DeepMind's AlphaStar, the development of a novel model compression algorithm, and the application of AI to defense and planning. I am proficient in Python programming and machine learning frameworks, and have led and collaborated with diverse and talented teams. I am passionate about making AI more efficient, accessible, and environmentally sustainable, and I am always seeking out new challenges and opportunities to innovate.

Finance 4.0
April 1, 2020 – August 1, 2020
The Finance4.0 platform aspires to be a socio-technical artifact spanning a design space for a socio-ecological financial system and for post-monetary concepts and experiments. The platform’s generative design allows to explore the new and broad spectrum of post-monetary ideas and approaches. They range from traditional money designs to entirely novel (re-)conceptions of value representation. Finance 4.0 enables the emergence of self-organizing, multi-dimensional, community-driven and token-based incentive systems for any positive sustainable action a community wants to promote – in a democratic way. FIN4Xplorer is our tool to explore the post-monetary design space.
3D Labeling Tool
February 1, 2019 – July 1, 2019
- Implemented nonrigd registration algorithm Thin Plate Spline Robust Point Matching (TPS-RPM) in Python and optimized it for parallel computation - Smart minimum bounding rectangle calculation - Implemented the unsupervised outlier detection algorithm rPCA to avoid 3D to 2D projection mishaps - Developed an alternate way of labeling in the rare cases where the mesh does not exist by rendering the problem into a non-linear optimization problem and solving using dogbox and Newton-Raphson methods - Implemented snapping feature where the labeling object will be snapped into its correct position without any user intervention (zculling + Support Vector Registration)

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a diverse background spanning academic research, startups (Co-Founder & CTO), and corporate R&D (BMW Group, Apgar Consulting). This breadth of experience suggests adaptability and a willingness to engage in various work environments. The involvement in innovative projects like Finance 4.0 and winning the EDA prize indicates an innovative mindset. However, the target role is 'Data Analyst', while much of the experience leans towards 'Machine Learning Engineer' and 'AI Team Lead'. While there's overlap, the focus on advanced ML/AI might indicate a different career trajectory than a pure Data Analyst role, potentially impacting cultural fit if the role is strictly analytical and less research/model-building oriented.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience as a Team Lead and Teaching Assistant suggests strong leadership and communication skills. Project descriptions indicate problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to complex technical challenges. However, without psychometric test results, a definitive assessment of work attitude, stress handling, and team collaboration is not possible.
