Adventure Works Sales Business Intelligence Dashboard
June 1, 2025 – June 1, 2026
Built an interactive 4-page Power BI dashboard using the Adventure Works dataset, a sports accessories company, to analyze sales performance, product insights, and customer behaviour. Developed KPI metrics using DAX to monitor overall business performance. Implemented sales trend analysis and product performance evaluation to identify revenue patterns and top-performing products, along with customer purchase insights to understand buying behaviour. Designed interactive visuals, slicers, and navigation features to enable dynamic data exploration and support better data-driven business decision-making. Optimized the data model by establishing relationships, creating calculated columns/measures, and improving query performance for faster report loading. Enabled automated data refresh and ensured report scalability, allowing seamless updates and consistent reporting for business stakeholders.
Cryptocurrency Markets Dashboard
June 1, 2025 – June 1, 2026
Developed a cryptocurrency market analytics dashboard by fetching real-time data from the CoinGecko API using REST API in Microsoft Fabric. Loaded and stored the data in a Fabric Data Warehouse through a data pipeline and built a semantic model for structured analysis. Connected the semantic model to Power BI to design interactive dashboards for visualizing cryptocurrency prices, market trends, and performance insights. Implemented efficient ETL workflows within Microsoft Fabric to handle real-time data ingestion, transformation, and loading, ensuring high data accuracy and consistency. Designed optimized data models with relationships, measures, and aggregations to improve query performance and enable faster analytical insights. Incorporated dynamic filtering, time-based analysis, and KPI tracking to monitor market volatility, price fluctuations, and asset performance for enhanced decision-making.
Formula 1 Data Pipeline & Analysis Project
June 1, 2025 – June 1, 2026
Built an end-to-end automated data pipeline using Python (FastF1, Pandas, NumPy) to analyze Formula 1 race sessions by dynamically fetching data based on race year and location, reducing manual effort by 90%. Designed modular scripts to extract key insights such as sector times, top speeds, tyre strategies, and pit stop performance. Engineered a scalable PostgreSQL database solution with dynamic table creation and SQL views for centralized data access, ensuring zero data loss across 20+ sessions. Integrated with Power BI to deliver real-time interactive dashboards with automated refresh, enabling faster decision-making and continuous data insights. Additionally, applied full-cycle data analytics techniques across diverse domains including sales and e-commerce datasets. Optimized data transformation workflows using efficient ETL processes to improve data processing speed and reliability. Implemented data validation and error-handling mechanisms to ensure data accuracy and consistency across the pipeline. Leveraged data modeling and visualization best practices to enhance dashboard performance, usability, and stakeholder insights.
Retail Sales Analysis Dashboard (BlinkIt)
June 1, 2025 – June 1, 2026
Worked on a retail dataset (BlinkIt) to analyze business performance and build an interactive dashboard using Tableau by analyzing over 8,500 records with 18 fields. In this created calculated measures such as Total Sales, Average Sales, Sales per Item, Average Rating, and Average Item Weight to evaluate performance. And analyzed how outlet size and location impact sales and studied the relationship between item visibility and sales. Compared performance across different outlet types and tiers and identified product categories contributing most to revenue. Designed an interactive dashboard with KPI cards, bar charts, pie/donut charts, and interactive filters for better insights. This project helped me strengthen my skills in data cleaning, calculated fields, data visualization, dashboard design, and data storytelling.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's projects demonstrate a strong focus on data analysis and business intelligence, aligning well with a Data Analyst role. The diversity of projects (Formula 1, Sales, Cryptocurrency, Retail) shows a broad interest in applying data analytics across different domains. The academic nature of all projects, however, suggests a lack of real-world industry experience, which might impact their immediate cultural fit in a fast-paced corporate environment requiring practical application and stakeholder management. The listed certifications further reinforce their commitment to learning and skill development.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate lists communication, problem-solving, time management, and adaptability as soft skills. While these are crucial for a Data Analyst role, there is no assessment data to validate these claims. The project descriptions indicate an ability to work on complex problems and manage project scope, which indirectly supports problem-solving and time management. However, direct evidence of communication and adaptability in a team or stakeholder context is not provided.
