Lead Data & ML Engineer @ Dorsia | PhD in Deep Learning | Former Co-Founder | ex-CERN
I'm a machine learning engineer with a strong software development foundation. I started out as a developer, got hooked on building things, and eventually went deep into ML during my PhD, focusing on applied deep learning. Since then, I’ve worked across the full ML and data stack, building pipelines from scratch, scaling systems from a single database to full-on data warehouses, and shipping models into production. My work spans everything from targeted and large-scale web scraping to NLP, computer vision (particularly object tracking and re-ID), time series forecasting & analysis, and dynamic pricing. I’m used to working remotely across time zones and in teams from early-stage startups to international companies. I enjoy bridging the gap between technical work and broader business goals, making sure everyone’s on the same page and moving in the right direction.
