The Digital Mammography Dream Challenge
July 1, 2016 – December 1, 2016
Developed deep learning models to improve the predictive accuracy of digital mammography for the early detection of breast cancer and also to reduce the recall rate of screening mammography Developed a method to identify the tumour region in the mammogram
Online Signature Verification and Recognition
June 1, 2016 – August 1, 2016
This project aimed to classify the genuine and forgery signatures from the database of signatures. I have implemented the Dynamic Time Warping algorithm on the SVC 2004 dataset and verified with the state of the art results. I have worked on development of an approach based on symbolic representation of signature(Interval Based Representation).
Identification and Classification of Molecular Sub-Types of Breast Cancer
May 1, 2016 – August 1, 2016
Identification and Classification of molecular sub-types of breast cancer using deep learning and machine learning techniques such as CNN's. We worked on developing Convolutional Neural Networks and Patch Extraction Techniques which helped us to achieve good results on H&E stained images of breast biopsy's. Implemented color normalization and stain separation techniques on the raw images of the tissues to bring uniformity in the data.
Machine Learning Projects

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's project diversity, particularly in medical and signature verification domains, shows a broad interest in applying AI/ML to various problems. Their progression from Machine Learning Engineer to Engineering Manager demonstrates ambition and growth. While the target role is 'Data Analyst', their extensive background in AI/ML suggests a strong analytical foundation that could be highly beneficial, though a direct alignment with typical data analyst tasks (e.g., SQL, BI tools, A/B testing) is not explicitly detailed in their experience. The CFA certification indicates an interest in quantitative finance, which could be a good fit for data analysis in financial contexts.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience as an Engineering Manager and Technical Lead suggests strong leadership, strategic thinking, and team management skills. Their involvement in the Entrepreneurial Development Cell also indicates initiative and an understanding of strategic development. However, without specific psychometric test results, a detailed assessment of work attitude, stress handling, and team collaboration is not possible.
