At Ento, we're helping energy managers optimise energy consumption at scale using their existing data and AI. Previously, I co-founded Wise.io with an amazing group of fellow physicists, computer scientists and statisticians from UC Berkeley. We were acquired by General Electric in 2016 to make it easier to use ML for high-value problems in predictive maintenance and asset optimization. Climate change is obviously a high-value problem, and my focus is now on bringing my learnings from designing scalable systems, connecting state-of-the-art data science to real-world problems and building teams to the sustainable energy transition. I have co-authored the Real-World Machine Learning book and spoken on methods and challenges of deploying and maintaining production machine learning and AI systems. I am organizing communities and events through DataCPH, Nordic.AI and most recently Aarhus AI.
