I build & scale digital banks , marketplaces and payments businesses. I've done it at my startup, at one of Asia's largest banks, at a government development bank. That range — founder , corporate executive ,operator to venture builder — is what makes my story unique. And my journey of discovery & execution , that I am moving forward with, to unlock incredible value. In 2017, I co-founded SOCASH — a real-time push payment and Visa Direct network scaling to $680M annual transaction volume across 6,000+ merchant endpoints in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. We built BaaS and embedded finance infrastructure for DBS, Standard Chartered, CIMB, ICBC, Singtel, Visa, and JCB, raised multiple VC and strategic rounds, and closed a 100% acquisition by Nium Inc. in 2022 — delivering a full exit and strong investor returns. My corporate career spans HSBC and Citibank, where I cut my teeth in credit cards, payments and mobile banking across Asia Pacific, through to DBS Bank, where as a founding member of the digital banking team I built DBS Remit from zero to $80M ARR business. As Chief Digital Officer at Qatar Development Bank (board mandate, reporting to CEO), I led full enterprise transformation. I'm doing it again right now at Standard Chartered Ventures building its AI native Marketplace with embedded financing. I operate at the intersection of technology & business opportunities: founder instinct, P&L ownership, deep payment infrastructure expertise (push payments, cards, cross-border, real-time rails, digital assets), and regulatory fluency across MAS, CBUAE, QCB, and HKMA.
