This project works is done for a banking service named NewDay Cards Pvt Ltd specializes in providing consumer finance services, including credit cards, to retail consumers. The company is dedicated to helping people move forward with credit by offering a range of financial products. As a Functional QA in the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, I played a role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their software products focussing on customer onboarding journeys. My responsibilities include, Test Planning and Design: Developed comprehensive Test Plans, RTM, Test scenarios, and Test cases based on detailed project requirements and specifications. Automation Utility development and support: Explored, implemented and involved in developing automation utilities through technologies such as Selenium Java + TestNG, Playwright JavaScript and Node. JS for bringing efficiency in test data and test execution process. Test Execution: Executed test cases both manually and using automated testing tools. For web automation testing, I utilized Selenium WebDriver (Java), Playwright (JavaScript), and for API testing, I employed Postman. For UI+API Combined testing, I employed Playwright (JS) + MCP and AI assisted approach. For Manual testing, I utilize the tools such as Browserstack for Mobile testing and MySQL for test data management. Experience in FirstVision (VisionPLUS) testing across CMS, TRAMS, LMS, and Authorization modules using BlueZone. Defect Management: Identified software defects and inconsistencies, documented them meticulously, and tracked their resolution using Jira. Provided detailed information to developers to facilitate quick and effective bug fixes. Created and maintained C# unit test cases using NUnit to validate business logic and service components. Leveraged GenAI-assisted code generation to accelerate unit test development and improve test coverage for new and existing modules. Fixed unit test failures, code defects and quality issues identified during execution and static analysis. Monitored and improved unit test code coverage using SonarQube dashboards, ensuring compliance with project quality gates. Migrated Selenium (Java) scripts to Playwright (JavaScript) by refactoring Page Object Models, replacing WebDriver waits with Playwright's auto-waiting, and updating locators/actions to Playwright APIs. Rebuilt the framework using Playwright Test with fixtures and parallel execution, and integrated API testing via Playwright's request module. Enhanced migration with MCP-based context handling and AI-assisted code generation to speed up script conversion and improve stability.
