“Who Needs the Support Most? Developing an Equity- and Justice-Based Indicator Using LASI Data set.”
January 1, 2024 – January 1, 2026
The aim of the study was to develop an indicator for the equitable distribution of sustainable elderly care services that could help older adults enhance their intrinsic capacity. To achieve this, I applied statistical techniques such as Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Propensity Score Matching (PSM), descriptive statistics, population projection, and time-series analysis. I used STATA software for analysis purpose, under the guidance of Professor Pradeep Salve, Department of Population and Development, International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai.
