GenAI & Data Leader at PwC | Generative AI Strategy, Data Transformation & Governance for Financial Services, Banking, Insurance & Private Equity | ex-EY | UAE & Europe
Generative AI and data leader with 13+ years of experience driving GenAI strategy, AI transformation, and enterprise data initiatives for banks, insurers, and government organizations across EMEA and the Middle East. I specialize in turning Generative AI from hype into production — designing enterprise GenAI programs, AI strategies, and data foundations that create measurable business value for C-suite and board-level stakeholders. My experience spans: - Generative AI & LLMs - voice agents, document intelligence, intelligent data query, and other production-grade, governed, ROI-positive GenAI solutions. - AI Strategy & Roadmaps - enterprise AI strategies, governance frameworks, and multi-year roadmaps for financial services and public sector clients. - Data Transformation & Governance - data management, governance, and quality programs that enable regulatory compliance, data monetization, and AI. - Commercial Growth - product-based revenue models and AI partnerships that generate new revenue and pipeline. I currently lead Data & AI engagements at PwC Middle East, advising banks, insurers, and public sector clients on their Generative AI and data agendas. Always happy to connect with leaders and teams working at the intersection of Generative AI, data, and financial services — across consulting, private equity, and the wider financial industry in the UAE and Europe. Focus areas: Generative AI (GenAI), AI Strategy, Large Language Models (LLMs), Data Transformation, Data Governance, Machine Learning, Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, Private Equity, Management Consulting, Head of Data & AI.

Two clients provided our team with real data sets. We had the chance to apply our analytics and Big Data skills to uncover actionable insights and drive innovation. The datasets from Telefonica and BBVA were large and this helped us really dive into big data analysis. By overlapping the two datasets and extracting insights we developed a product "CrowdPulse" A crowd-tracking application that provided information on crowd activity to enable users to decide when and where to go and enable local bars/restaurants to capitalize on the resulting business opportunities presented by the crowds.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's project experience, while relevant to data analytics, is primarily academic/challenge-based and lacks diversity in industry or technology stack beyond financial services and consulting. The target role of 'Data Analyst' might be a mismatch for the candidate's senior-level strategic and managerial experience in AI/Data, potentially indicating an overqualification or a desire for a different type of role. The breadth of skills is strong within AI/Data strategy and management but less so in hands-on data analysis tools or diverse industry applications.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership and advisory skills, evidenced by roles as Senior Manager and Principal Consultant. Experience in building partnerships and managing transformations suggests strong operational fit for strategic data initiatives. The teaching experience also indicates an ability to communicate complex topics.
