AI-Based Fake News Detection System
June 21, 2026 – Present
Designed and developed an end-to-end web application that verifies the authenticity of news content in real time by combining classical NLP with modern Large Language Models. Implemented a cascading LLM pipeline using Microsoft Phi-3 Mini (via Ollama) as the primary engine and Groq Llama-3.3-70B as a fallback, improving reliability and response time. Built the backend using Flask with a Blueprint-based modular architecture, SQLAlchemy ORM, and JWT-based authentication to secure user sessions and API endpoints. Integrated live evidence retrieval through the Google Fact Check API and RSS feeds, along with a curated knowledge base of around 350 entities, to support model decisions. Developed a responsive front end with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that delivers verdicts, confidence scores, and supporting sources in a clean, user-friendly interface.
Image Cartoonization Web Application
June 21, 2026 – Present
Built a web application that converts uploaded photographs into cartoon-style images using a multi-step OpenCV pipeline (bilateral filtering, edge detection, color quantization). Designed a Python backend that handles secure image uploads, processing, and download of the transformed output, with proper file validation and cleanup. Created an interactive front end allowing users to preview original and cartoonized images side-by-side, with responsive layouts for desktop and mobile.
Student Management System on AWS
June 21, 2026 – Present
Developed a cloud-deployed student management system providing CRUD operations for students, courses, and academic records through a web interface. Hosted the application on AWS EC2, stored profile assets and documents on Amazon S3, and used Amazon RDS for managed relational storage to ensure scalability and durability. Applied IAM-based access control and environment-level credentials to follow cloud security best practices, gaining hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure and deployment.
E-Cart - Full-Stack E-Commerce Web Application
June 21, 2026 – Present
Built a full-stack e-commerce platform supporting product browsing, cart management, order placement, and a secure checkout flow. Implemented user registration, login, and session management with secure password handling and role-based access control. Created an admin dashboard with full CRUD operations for managing products, customers, and orders, backed by a normalized MySQL schema. Designed responsive interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and tested the application end-to-end in a XAMPP environment.
