Acoustic Simulation of Diesel Particulate Filters and Catalytic Converters
January 1, 2012 – July 1, 2012
This project is aiming on finding solutions for making acoustic simulations on diesel particulate filters (DPF) and catalytic converters (CC), which are important components in modern exhaustion system. Matlab toolbox and COMSOL models are developed in this project, accomplishing a method which is easy-to-use and providing precise solutions. Concepts such as duct acoustics, two-port method and finite element method (FEM) are highly related in this project. This project is also funded by The Oticon Foundation (William Demants og Hustru Ida Emilies Fond, http://www.oticonfonden.dk/).

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has worked in diverse company cultures, from large tech companies like Spotify to specialized engineering firms like COMSOL and startups like Einride and Tradeshift. The breadth of experience across different domains (acoustic simulation, logistics, music streaming, B2B platforms) suggests adaptability. The numerous certifications in data science, machine learning, and cloud computing indicate a strong drive for self-improvement and alignment with data-driven cultures. The target role of 'Data Analyst' aligns well with the candidate's educational background in numerical computation and extensive certifications in data science and machine learning, although most recent roles are more software engineering focused.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's resume indicates a proactive approach to learning new technologies (e.g., learning a full stack in two weeks at Tradeshift) and a history of working in diverse team environments. The description of sharing thoughts and showing off ML certificates suggests a collaborative and knowledge-sharing attitude. The early career as a Simulation Engineer and later roles in ML and backend development show adaptability and problem-solving skills. However, without specific psychometric test results, a detailed assessment of stress handling or team collaboration beyond what's inferred from job descriptions is not possible.
