Silicon Photonics Engineer specializing in photonic device design, waveguide optimization, and advanced numerical simulation. My work experience is grounded in the fundamental electromagnetic physics of photonic structures, combined with rigorous optimization methodologies to refine geometries, improve mode matching, and minimize insertion loss-ensuring designs are scalable and manufacturable under real-world constraints. I leverage tools such as Tidy3D, Lumerical MODE, Lumerical FDTD, Lumerical INTERCONNECT, KLayout, GDSFactory, and Cadence, along with circuit-level tools such as SPICE and Spectre. I also utilize scripting and modeling languages including Python, MATLAB, Verilog-A, and Lumerical scripting to enable efficient design automation and optimization workflows. My experience spans couplers, MMI, MZI-based optical processors, WDM/CWDM, PRS, edge couplers, and many other components across diverse applications, such as optical interconnects, optical processors, etc. delivering robust, efficient performance even in the presence of process variations.
