Signature recognizer
August 1, 2015 – October 1, 2015
Implemented a signature recognizer, in MATLAB, in a group of 4 students. Worked on Hidden Markov Models, Gaussian Mixture Models, Dynamic Time Warping, Genetic Algorithms.
Barcode Recognizer
June 1, 2015 – Present
We implemented a barcode recognizer in pictures, in C++. It recognizes horizontal, vertical and diagonal barcode. It can recognize more that one barcode by picture. We coded: ● An Otsu binarisation ● Black Top-Hat ● A contour recognizer ● A clustering algorithm ● Some image processing We did a test suite in Python.
Spell checker
May 1, 2015 – Present
We implemented a speed and effective spell checker in command line in C++. We used: ● The Damerau-Levenshtein distance ● A Trie structure It uses less than 512M of RAM.
Java project
April 1, 2014 – Present
Photoshop: implemented a photoshop-like (2 weeks).
C++ projects
December 1, 2013 – Present
• Bistromathique: implemented a calculator capable of handling infinite numbers in any base (2 weeks). • Raytracer (2 members, 2 days).
42sh
November 1, 2013 – Present
I realized a full POSIX compliant shell, written in C, in a 5 students group. The SCL and "bash --posix" were our reference. I mainly worked on the execution (builtins, redirections, pipes), the tests suite (Python), the Doxygen documentation and the linux man page.
C projects
September 1, 2013 – November 1, 2013
Malloc: rewrite the UNIX memory management function called malloc (1 week). Fnmatch: rewrite the fnmatch linux function (2 days). EvalExpr: write a simple calculator (1 week). Video game: create a runner-like video game in C by using SDL: obstacles, menu, sounds, animations, collectable objects, gravity (3 members, 39 hours). FormulaOne: create an Artificial Intelligence to drive a car on a map. Mini-printf: rewrite several options of printf (1 week). Minimake: a simple GNU make (1 week). Httpd: a simple web server (2 members, 1 week). My ReadISO: an ISO reader (2 days).

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's involvement in 'Paris Women in Machine Learning and Data Science' demonstrates a commitment to community building and diversity, which aligns well with inclusive company cultures. The progression from individual contributor to leadership roles at ServiceNow indicates ambition and a desire for growth. The breadth of personal projects and research experience suggests intellectual curiosity and a passion for technology beyond their primary roles. While the target role is 'Data Analyst', the candidate's background is heavily skewed towards Machine Learning and Applied Research, which might indicate a potential mismatch if the Data Analyst role is purely focused on reporting and dashboarding without ML integration. However, their analytical skills are highly transferable.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience as a Manager and Supervisor at ServiceNow, along with co-founding 'Paris Women in Machine Learning and Data Science', indicates strong leadership, team collaboration, and communication skills. The detailed project descriptions suggest good problem-solving and analytical abilities. The diverse project portfolio also points to adaptability and a proactive learning attitude.
