Wireless sensor network
April 1, 2014 – July 1, 2014
Design and development of a wireless sensor network as "Embedded systems" class project. The network has been implemented using ST Microelectronics SoCs. The infrastructure has designed with a hierarchical topology, where at the lowest level there are sensing nodes. Data from sensors are provided to the central command center through a routing network implemented by SoCs. My teamwork's task has been to design and develop the logging architecture used to keep track of all the data requests and responses, from and to the sensors. The work includes the development of USB protocol and the deployment of an embedded file system using ST libraries.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's extensive tenure and progression within Microsoft, coupled with a wide array of certifications and leadership roles, suggest a strong fit for a structured, enterprise-level environment. Their involvement in various technical and business strategy roles indicates adaptability and a broad understanding of technology's impact. The personal projects from earlier in their career show initiative and a diverse interest in computer engineering topics, from game development to embedded systems, which could bring a varied perspective. However, the target role is 'Data Analyst', which is a significant shift from their recent senior leadership and strategic AI roles. While they possess the technical foundation, the cultural fit for a hands-on data analyst role, rather than a strategic AI leadership role, needs further validation.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's career progression at Microsoft, including roles like 'EMEA AI & Apps Tech Director' and 'Global Black Belt', indicates strong leadership, strategic thinking, and client-facing communication skills. Their involvement in various Microsoft programs and certifications also suggests a proactive and continuous learning mindset, which aligns well with dynamic operational environments. The project descriptions, while brief, suggest a problem-solving approach and teamwork in academic settings.
