I'm a backend engineer and love learning new technologies that make my work easier and more fun. I've worked with all of these languages: Javascript/TypeScript, PHP, Java, Python, Bash, and Erlang. I've worked with a few RDBMSes like Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle. P.S.: Many moons ago, I built mobile apps on RIM Blackberry OS.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a diverse project portfolio, ranging from mobile applications and content platforms to enterprise solutions and fintech (Brass Technologies, Paystack). Their experience as a Co-Founder & CTO at Brass Technologies and subsequent acquisition by Paystack demonstrates entrepreneurial drive and adaptability. However, the target role is 'Frontend Developer', and while the candidate has some frontend experience (jQuery, Javascript), their recent and most significant roles lean heavily towards backend, leadership, and system architecture. This creates a potential misalignment with a dedicated frontend role, suggesting a need to assess their current frontend proficiency and interest.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's extensive experience in leadership roles (CTO, Head of Engineering, Technical Lead) suggests strong soft skills in team management, technical guidance, and strategic planning. Their involvement in hiring and 1:1s at Paystack indicates a focus on team growth and well-being. The project descriptions, while lacking specific details on collaboration, imply operational fit through end-to-end project ownership and client interaction (e.g., Nigerian Breweries Plc, MTN Nigeria).
