This project focuses on recycling of IT devices and managing them for reuse in new products. We work with multiple clients, and for each client, we create a dedicated pipeline that handles their specific workflow. Within each pipeline, products can be added and processed through various stages from collection and recycling to refurbishment and storage for new products. Responsibilities: Understood the requirements to be tested and created test Scenario's, test data and test cases accordingly for Functional and Service Testing. Performed Smoke, Sanity, Re-Test and Regression testing whenever new changes were deployed to the environment. Conducted Functional and Regression testing done manually and retesting of logged defects while functional and service test execution. Identified defects/bugs and communicated them to the developers after test execution and provided support for defect reproduction. Designed and developed a robust automation testing framework from scratch using Selenium, Java, TestNG, and Maven following the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern. Integrated the framework with Extent Reports for reporting and Log4j for logging. Involved in creating Feature files, Step definitions, and Runner class, TestNG.xml and incorporated the new changes into the framework. Analyzed step by step failures and pass criteria. Identified reusable functionalities and developed scripts developed for reusable scenarios. Updated automation test scripts for enhancements and maintenance of the application.

This project aimed to apply Gemba concepts to identify inefficiencies and improve operational workflows. By conducting Gemba walks and directly observing real work environments, the team analyzed existing processes, identified root causes of delays, and implemented continuous improvement (Kaizen) strategies. As a result, productivity increased, errors were reduced, and overall process quality improved.
