I spent 25 years inside retail — running planning, merchandising, analytics, supply chain, eCommerce, marketing, loyalty, and IT at Victoria's Secret, Disney Store, American Eagle, David's Bridal, and rue21. I've led most functions of a retailer, launched brands, taken a company through IPO, driven a 130% EBITDA turnaround, and built the most profitable year in a billion-dollar retailer's history. Then I decided I could serve the industry better by building a solution all retailers could use, rather than fixing one company at a time. That's Profitmind. We built the first agentic AI platform designed specifically for retail — not another dashboard, not another analytics layer, but an intelligence system that connects directly to a retailer's existing data, creates zero new silos, and starts delivering financial impact the day it goes live. Our clients average 21% revenue growth, 14% margin improvement, and a one-month payback on the annual cost. We won the 2025 Retail Innovation Award and were recognized by the NRF as one of the most innovative technologies of 2024. I'll make some bold statements about where this is going. Heavy software implementations — 12 months or more — will be eliminated completely. Specialty software companies will disappear. AI will automate all rote analytical and planning tasks, and the human teams will be freed to focus on what retailers used to do best: creating amazing products and experiences.
