Electricity theft is harmful to power grid suppliers and causes economic losses. Integrating information flows with energy flows, smart grids can help to solve the problem of electricity theft owning to the availability of massive data generated from smart grids. Therefore, we aim to design a novel electricity theft detection method using a Wide & Deep Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) model to learn the electricity consumption data and identify the electricity thieves.

September 23, 2020 – September 24, 2020
This project is an attempt to implement a speed control system for a DC Motor using the PID controller on MATLAB. To achieve this, we couple the output of motor to a control circuit which senses and rectifies the error in angular position and velocity till the desired pre-determined point. We study the Ziegler-Nichols Method for speed control and then use some manual fine-tuning to optimise PID controller gains (Kp, Ki, Kd) for desired performance

View ProjectCultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's project portfolio shows a strong inclination towards academic and competitive programming challenges. While this demonstrates a drive for technical problem-solving, there is limited evidence of team-based projects, open-source contributions, or diverse industry applications that would indicate a strong cultural fit for a collaborative software development environment. The projects are mostly personal and theoretical, which might require adaptation to a more product-oriented, team-driven culture.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
Insufficient data to assess soft skills or operational fit. The candidate's projects are primarily technical and personal, offering no insight into collaboration, communication, or work attitude.
