Building an intelligent chatbot powered by Corrective Retrieval-Augmented Generation (CRAG) to deliver topic-specific insights from social media. Processed 10,000+ social-media text data points end-to-end from data collection, preprocessing, vector search, to model evaluation. Developed a multi-agent verification system to automatically detect hallucinations and inform users about the specific types of hallucinations present in each response. Successfully reduced hallucination rate from 73% to 30%, significantly minimizing misinformation delivered to users. Designed and developed the entire chatbot system by building the backend API, integrating CRAG, and implementing multi-agent evaluation into a unified web application.
