Co-Founder, CTO & CPO @ Vervotech | Scaling SaaS through AI-Driven Data Integrity | ISB AI Leader | Architecting the Future of Agentic Platforms
I've spent 18 years actually shipping it at scale, in production, for 250+ B2B clients. I started in the trenches. At Tavisca (now part of JP Morgan Chase), I spent 8+ years architecting global travel booking platforms and growing an engineering team from 0 to 21. At Schlumberger, I led microservices adoption on Google Cloud and improved mobile performance by 86% on systems running mission-critical oil & gas operations. Two decades of building software that absolutely cannot fail taught me something most builders learn too late: architecture is destiny. In 2019 I co-founded Vervotech to fix a problem the travel industry had quietly accepted as unsolvable, fragmented, dirty hotel data costing billions in lost conversions. We built an AI-driven mapping platform from zero to 99.9% accuracy, won the World Travel Tech Awards three years running. Now I'm focused on what I believe is the defining shift of this decade: turning AI from a feature into a platform capability. I'm building in public, and writing the playbooks I wish I'd had across platform architecture, AI-native product building, and the unglamorous work of scaling a bootstrapped company through acquisition. What I write about: → Building AI-native B2B SaaS platforms: architecture, multi-tenancy, ML-driven data systems → Scaling bootstrapped startups from 0 → acquisition: GTM, pricing, enterprise deal mechanics → Cloud-native engineering across AWS, GCP, Azure → Engineering leadership: hiring, org design, distributed team velocity → Operating across CTO ↔ CEO ↔ CPO — where tech, product, and commercial execution actually meet If you're building an AI-native SaaS platform, scaling an engineering org, or weighing bootstrapped vs. venture, I'd love to swap notes. DMs open. Lead with what you're building. #AISaaS #PlatformEngineering #CloudNative #ProductStrategy #B2BSaaS

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a strong entrepreneurial background, having co-founded and led a successful tech company through acquisition. This indicates a proactive, innovative, and resilient mindset. Their experience across various company stages (startup to enterprise) and roles (CTO, CEO, Architect) suggests adaptability. The focus on building high-performance cultures and strategic partnerships aligns with a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. However, the target role is 'Backend Engineer', which is a significant shift from recent executive leadership roles. While the technical foundation is strong, the direct cultural fit for an individual contributor role after extensive leadership might require further assessment.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate demonstrates strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities through their executive roles. Their experience in building and scaling teams, driving GTM strategies, and improving CSAT indicates strong operational fit and a results-oriented approach. The descriptions highlight accountability and a focus on execution.
