CTO & Co-Founder at Qarnot computing
I’m the CTO and co-founder of Qarnot. I graduated from EPITA, France’s leading computer science engineering school, and began my career working in network and storage technologies before joining Qarnot in 2014. I developed the first API that laid the foundation for our sovereign cloud HPC platform. For over a decade, I’ve been leading the development of both the hardware and software that power our infrastructure, while shaping the company’s long-term technical strategy. I manage a team of 50+ engineers across embedded systems, IT infrastructure, cloud platform development, application interfaces, and product engineering. My role is to ensure that our technical roadmap remains aligned with Qarnot’s broader strategic goals: building a sovereign, high-performance cloud HPC platform that combines extensive in-house development with open-source technologies, maintaining full control over orchestration, scheduling, and infrastructure layers. At Qarnot, we offer: ▪ Effortless HPC Access: Our HPCaaS provides instant access to thousands of high-end servers, enabling large-scale, parallel simulations via web, API, or SDKs. This saves engineers up to 50% of their time, allowing them to focus on innovation, not IT management. ▪ Unmatched Cost Efficiency: Qarnot’s proprietary infrastructure, based on heat reuse technology, reduces operational costs, offering prices up to 50% lower than traditional cloud providers. ▪ Sovereign & Sustainable Infrastructure: Fully operated in Europe, Qarnot’s infrastructure ensures data security and compliance, cutting carbon emissions by 80% through innovative heat reuse technology.
