Solving workplace conflict before it escalates | ex-IBM AI Leader
Most workplace problems don’t start as HR issues. They start as small, unresolved tensions that no one addresses early enough. A missed expectation. A conversation that didn’t happen. A bit of frustration that slowly compounds. By the time it reaches HR, it’s already expensive: • performance issues • team dysfunction • attrition • formal escalation But what if organizations could intervene earlier, before things break? — After 10+ years building enterprise AI products at IBM, I kept seeing the same pattern: We’ve built sophisticated systems to process data, automate workflows, and optimize decisions. But we have almost no infrastructure for managing human friction. And yet, that’s where a huge portion of organizational cost lives. — That’s what I’m working on. I’m building AI that helps surface, structure, and resolve conflict earlier, when it’s still manageable. Not replacing human judgment. But supporting better conversations, better framing, and better outcomes. The goal isn’t just conflict resolution.
