Taking advantage of the power of Azure IoT and cloud services for data collection and analysis, Microsoft has worked together with Naturgy so that it can create its own solution called “Smart Energy Platform”, capable of intelligently monitoring the distribution of energy in UFD networks. This is possible thanks to the installation of different types of low-consumption sensors, tailored to the needs of the project, which offer an advanced monitoring system and take advantage of the potential of the cloud to perform real-time analysis. The adoption of this system serves Naturgy to proactively optimize maintenance and improve the state of its distribution network, allowing the company to anticipate incidents, generate cost savings and improve customer service.
