This is a subject that I've tried tackling before, but wasn't able to before learning Unity. Previously, game engine and code extensibility limitations were major road blocks for this type of project, but now I've managed to create a working prototype of a space survival tactics game with simple procedural generation and other roguelike elements. Credit for the skybox goes to TL Multimedia and for the textures to Mauricio Marinho.

The candidate's projects are heavily focused on game development and Unity, with a strong emphasis on AI/ML within that context. While this shows initiative and a passion for technology, the breadth of data science applications outside of gaming is not evident. The current role as 'Data Scientist' at BantamGames aligns with their project focus, suggesting a good fit for gaming-centric data science roles. However, for a broader Data Scientist role, the lack of diverse project types (e.g., finance, e-commerce, healthcare) might indicate a narrower cultural fit.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
