With over 25 years of experience across industry and academia, I’ve been fortunate to lead innovation and research projects in AI in across sectors like MarTech, Telecoms, Retail, CPG, and Financial Services. My focus has always been on building data-driven products, enabling digital transformation, and exploring new disruptive business models that create real-world impact. Along the way, I’ve had the chance to build and mentor cross-functional global teams, advise startups and government institutions on AI, data ethics, and innovation, and support initiatives around STEM education, climate action, and sustainability. In my current role at Entain, as Global Head of AI & Data Science, I am focussed on the creation of an AI Centre of Excellence, fostering a culture of responsible innovation and collaboration. I’m responsible for building and guiding AI, ML, and data science teams, aligning our work with business goals, mentoring the next generation of talent, and design and implement value measurement frameworks to track the real impact of AI initiatives, while ensuring scalability and sustainability. Whether it’s making build vs. buy decisions, managing executive stakeholders, or knowing when AI isn't the right tool, I try to approach every challenge with pragmatism and curiosity. At the heart of my work is a strong belief in building Responsible and Trustworthy AI—systems that are transparent, ethical, and aligned with user needs and societal values. I’m deeply committed to ensuring AI not only solves complex problems but also earns the trust of the people it’s meant to serve.
