A/B Testing for Game Gate Placement
December 1, 2024 – February 1, 2025
A/B testing project aimed at evaluating the impact of moving the game gate from Gate 30 (Level 30) to Gate 40 (Level 40) on player engagement and retention. Analysis of 90,189 players showed that Gate 30 performed better, with 6.25% higher game rounds played and Day 7 retention rates that were 4.5% higher than Gate 40, a statistically significant improvement. Hypothesis testing confirmed Gate 30 as the optimal placement for maintaining player engagement and long-term retention.
Chatbot Developer | EcoBot Project
May 1, 2024 – November 1, 2024
Project aimed at building a chatbot to satisfy customer queries and recommend products and services based on customer profiles and purchase history. Designed conversational paths and stories, utilized LLMs to handle open-ended queries, and integrated REST APIs for database operations (e.g., user registration). Additionally, the chatbot was connected to a recommendation system for personalized suggestions. The implementation reduced response time by 30%, significantly improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Hostel Expense Management Dashboard (Power BI)
October 1, 2023 – March 1, 2024
Data Analysis problem statement focused on financial planning and expense reduction. Collected data using Google Forms for 4 months, employing sampling techniques. Performed data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and hypothesis testing. Analysis shows that, on average, students spend ₹15 daily, totaling ₹450 monthly. Students who live very close to or far from home spend more, and weekend expenses are higher than on normal or exam days. MSC Part 1 students spend more than Part 2 students on non-exam days, while MSC Part 2 students spend more during exams. Low-IQ students tend to spend more on non-exam days, but high-IQ students outspend them during exam days. High IQ students from poor backgrounds spend less overall. Among students from high-income families, female students tend to spend more money than their male counterparts.
Analyzing Trader Behavior During the COVID-19 Pandemic
January 1, 2022 – April 1, 2022
Data analysis project aimed at studying trader behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic. Collected data via Google Forms using sampling techniques from WhatsApp and Telegram groups. Conducted data preprocessing and exploratory data analysis (EDA). Performed hypothesis testing using the Chi-square test of independence. Analysis shows that age and family income influence risk-taking capacity, while research before trading and joining paid courses impact satisfaction levels. Enrollment in paid courses affects the use of stop-loss strategies. Most participants are bullish, driven by speculation and the pursuit of high returns.
Optimizing Staffing Through Attendance Analysis
January 1, 2022 – February 1, 2022
Probability analysis project aimed at identifying understaffed situations due to employee absences. Defined a random variable for daily absences, plotted a histogram, and fitted a probability distribution using the Chi-square test. The findings revealed a 0.065 chance of more than 20 employees being absent on any given day, occurring around 24 times annually, aiding in better staffing and resource planning
