CTO
"All of us are extremely blessed to be what we are. I believe that each of us should strive to give back to society by engaging in sincere service – at every opportunity, and in whatever way we can. This, I believe, represents the true evolution of our spirit and I hope we can collectively work towards this ideal". I currently drive product and technology that empowers people in low-resource supply chains, with a mission to ensure availability of essential goods at the last-mile service delivery points. The software, offered as a service, enables end-to-end optimization of supply chains using mobile phone applications and smart technology on the cloud, including predictive analytics and artificial intelligence. It is highly scalable, supporting millions of nodes in the network and big data, deployed on a highly available, secure and self-healing cloud infrastructure. My core responsibilities at Logistimo, beyond helping co-create and grow the organization, have spanned various areas including product strategy and management, quality assurance, software development, service deployment, site reliability engineering and customer relationship management. Product and service management continue to be at the core of what I do. I started my career at Xerox Research in technology development in the area of Digital Rights Management and moved into a role that takes technologies to business, eventually leading to a joint spin-off with Microsoft. After having a brief entrepreneurial stint in California, enabling publishers to digitize their catalogs for e-Commerce, I worked at Yahoo! India, initially as a product manager on Communities, and subsequently incubating an Advanced Technology Group that built technology and products for Web Search, which eventually became Y! Labs in India.
