I am Professor of robotics and artificial intelligence at Imperial College London, and director of the Adaptive & Intelligent Robotics lab. The goal of our research is to develop novel learning algorithms that will improve the adaptivity, versatility, and autonomy of robots and autonomous agents. We harness the creativity of AI and ML to find creative solutions and think outside the box. We have developed several state of the art methods in Quality-Diversity optization, in open-endedness, and world models.
