Engineering Leader @ Apple | AI-Powered Design, Quality & Innovation | Concept → World-Class Product | MBA
I've shipped consumer electronics that millions of people use every day. Over 8 years of experience, I've done three things repeatedly: partnered with designers to turn ideas into shippable products, built tools that help engineering teams deliver the highest quality at scale, and used data and AI to make better decisions faster. 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 Across 10+ iPad and Apple Pencil programs, I've been the bridge between what Industrial Design envisions and what manufacturing can deliver. That means hours in ID reviews debating cosmetic specs, negotiating tolerances with product design that protect the design intent without killing yield, and driving alignment between creative teams, design and contract manufacturers — so what ships looks and works exactly as designed. 𝗔𝗜 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀: 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 + 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 I build AI-powered tools that do two things: uphold Apple's quality bar at every manufacturing site, and give quality engineers the data to make the right call. Lead the development of Deep learning based machines to AI based simulation tool to empower engineers across Apple Design/manufacturing teams. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵 (𝟬 → 𝟭) 10+ consumer electronics products shipped. Every one required synthesizing design intent, engineering constraints, supply chain realities, and user experience goals into clear product decisions — then driving those decisions to execution across global cross-functional teams. 🎓 MBA — AI, Business & Innovation (UIUC, 2025) | MS Industrial Engineering (Purdue) 🏅 "The Unsung Hero" Award | Best Mentor Award at

Sentiment Analysis and Prediction of yelp star rating using Machine learning algorithms
January 1, 2017 – Present
Collected more than 200000+ reviews from the Yelp website. We were mainly focused on Review text and star ratings. Pre-processed the data by converting them to lower case, removing punctuation marks. After pre-processing made the opinion lexicon by removing the stopping word. Then used the constructed lexicon to make feature matrix which was used in prediction using Naive Bayes classifiers, Support Vector Machine, Logistic Regression and Ensemble Method. Optimised these models by using different techniques such as adjusting scoring function, and search parameters to L2. The result was the reduction in misclassification error to within 5%. Skills: Python (Numpy and Pandas), Predictive analytics
Prediction of Housing Prices in Iowa by pointing out the significant variables that impact the price trend using Regression
October 1, 2016 – December 1, 2016
The raw data of housing prices and respective factors like area, parking area, location, number of floors, etc. were given , the task was to pinpoint at the most useful variables that have the maximum influence on the housing price, Analyzed the data with partial F-tests,did transformations to ensure the normality assumption of data, performed weighted regression to make the variance as constant, pointed out the interlinkage of variables using multicollinearity and t-tests, centered and standardized all the variables to ensure no correlation between the explanatory variables, used Cook's D and Hat matrix residuals to get the set of variables so that the overall adjusted R-squared term is the best.
Optimised the long term investments using Simplex method in Python
October 1, 2016 – December 1, 2016
The problem involved the investment of a company into different 20 bonds, each bond has its constraints like timeline, amount and interest rate. Coded simplex algorithm from scratch in python using numpy library. Skills: Python, Simplex Optimization, Convex Optimisation
THOR 2 (Efficycle 2012)
April 1, 2012 – October 1, 2012
Won overall rank one in the event due to well sized motor and gear ratio optimization • Light Weighted existing unsprung mass and powertrain to reduce inertial loads in the driveline. • Designed space frame according to the new powertrain configuration for calculated bending and torsional loads.
THOR
March 1, 2011 – November 1, 2011
The Project THOR’s aim was designing, validating and fabricating a three wheeled hybrid human powered electric vehicle, which has the capacity to act as a good viable option for local transportation. The vehicle design is made keeping three designs in mind: racing model, agricultural model and commercial model. Work done at our Institute has shown that improved cycle rickshaw powered by an electric motor and batteries has the potential to provide an attractive alternative to petrol and diesel- powered three-wheelers and also to provide large-scale employment and extra income to the rickshaw puller. Our design of the green bio filter (installed in the agricultural model) can solve the problem of scarcity of potable drinking water Other advancement is by utilizing all types of vibrations and incident energy being received by a rickshaw during run which can be harnessed to charge electronic items like mobile etc. This design can replace auto rickshaw and other polluting vehicles with almost zero maintenance and with a small estimated manufacturing cost of $400. This project was showcased at SAE EFFICYCLE 2011 and received the Award for “BEST UTILITY AND HANDLING”. The project was further presented at various platforms and received the top recognition and many prizes along with it.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's diverse background, spanning mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, and an ongoing MBA with a focus on AI strategy, demonstrates adaptability and a continuous learning mindset. Their experience in various industries (automotive, aerospace, retail, consumer electronics) and roles (engineer, analyst, manager) suggests a broad perspective and ability to integrate into different organizational cultures. The shift from manufacturing quality to data analysis and AI strategy indicates a proactive career development path towards data-driven roles. However, the majority of their professional experience is in manufacturing quality, which, while data-intensive, is not a direct functional match for a pure Data Analyst role without further demonstration of core data analysis skills beyond project work.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience at Apple as a Manager and Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer, leading product strategy and mentoring teams, suggests strong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Their work on 'AI-powered tools' and 'simulation-based decision making' indicates an analytical and proactive approach to quality engineering. The various project experiences, including team-based engineering competitions, highlight teamwork and practical application of knowledge. The MBA in AI strategy and product innovation further supports a strategic and analytical mindset.
