Ankit Sharma

A driven entrepreneur with strong experience in the software field, Ankit Sharma works with multiple founders to build startups from the ground up. Passionate about startups and software technology in general, Ankit keeps up with the fast-evolving trends and has worked on projects ranging from fintech to real estate to artificial intelligence. Ankit divides his time between San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New Delhi. He holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and economics, with specializations in finance and entrepreneurship, from the University of Southern California. Ankit grew his software development firm, Inventive Byte, to having more than 200 developers, servicing entrepreneurs worldwide. On top of serving Fortune 500 brands and top startups, Ankit works with university students to build their ideas and is a strong believer in the notion of learning by doing. Ankit loves working with all types of smart, talented individuals and provides his resources to help them succeed. Ankit founded Angelfund.ai in order to improve meritocracy and inclusivity within the fundraising process. It was shortly after acquired for its strong ability to determine target startups for an investor. He believes that many of the challenges in fundraising will be eradicated by tools still to come. As an evolution to this venture, Ankit has become a partner at Exitfund, where he will be investing in top startups globally. When Ankit is not hustling towards his next startup goal, he can be found working out, playing chess, or on the golf course. A strong believer of philanthropy, Ankit spends much of his time volunteering in his local community. He is part of the Forbes Technology Council and writes for Forbes.
