Traffic Turnout Solution (fuel and carbon gas reduction) for Aliso Viejo and Aliso Niguel High School
January 1, 2012 – December 1, 2012
Eliminated fifteen year traffic problem, conforms perfectly with Aliso Viejo Green City and "Safe Routes to School" plans. Originated concept, designed and conducted study, gathered measurements, performed analysis, presented results. Petitioned for support and received signatures from 1,560 Aliso Viejo constituents. Received final approval from city of Aliso Viejo, Aliso Niguel High School, and Orange County Sheriff. Discovered funding through California Assembly Bill 2766 and ensured plan conformed with qualifications for funding. Projected annual reduction in carbon gas emissions and fuel by up to 3,000,000 pounds and 150,000 gallons, respectively. Installation of four turnouts was approved by Aliso Viejo city board members and installed in December 2012. http://internationalenergyalliance.org/2013/01/08/iea-project-saves-150000-gallons-of-fuel-annually/

Hundreds of students attended as did high school principals, scientists, and government officials. Delivered speech: "Low Carbon Lifestyle" (see publications).
Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's project history shows a strong inclination towards environmental and community-focused initiatives, which suggests a value for impact and social responsibility. The diverse roles, from intern to senior data scientist, indicate adaptability and a willingness to take on different challenges. However, the projects are heavily focused on environmental and academic contexts, with less explicit mention of typical corporate or startup environments. The target role is 'Data Analyst', but the candidate's experience leans heavily towards 'Data Scientist' and 'Machine Learning Developer', which might indicate a potential mismatch in expectations or a desire for a more advanced analytical role. The breadth of skills is strong in data science and ML, but specific data analyst tools (e.g., advanced Excel, specific BI tools beyond Tableau) are not explicitly detailed.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's project descriptions, particularly those from the International Energy Alliance and City of Aliso Viejo, indicate strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. The 'Traffic Turnout Solution' project highlights problem-solving, initiative, and stakeholder management. The MITRE experience suggests an ability to lead projects and collaborate within a technical team. The psychometric test score is not provided, so a direct assessment of work attitude, stress handling, and team collaboration cannot be made from the assessment data.
