Biomedical Engineer graduated from Universidad Politécnica Salesiana (Ecuador, 2025) with solid training in data analysis, Python, SQL, and advanced Excel with Power Query. My most relevant project involved analyzing 558,837 vehicle auction records from the U.S. market—identifying price depreciation patterns, a condition-scale anomaly, and a consistent gap between sale prices and market value (MMR). My engineering background allows me to break down complex problems systematically and translate them into clear, actionable dashboards. I am looking for a remote entry-level position where I can contribute to data-driven business and commercial decisions from day one.

Used Vehicle Auction Market Analysis
January 1, 2025 – January 1, 2025
• Exploratory data analysis of 558,837 U.S. vehicle auction records (source: Kaggle). • Data cleaning and transformation with Power Query: GMT-0800 date normalization, column removal, and inconsistency treatment. • Built 4 pivot tables and an interactive dashboard with 5 KPIs, 6 dynamic charts, and 2 slicers (year and vehicle condition). • Key findings: 68% average price drop between 0–50k miles ($18,570) vs. 100–150k miles ($5,924); condition-scale anomaly identified; average sale price $127 below market value (MMR).
View ProjectPre-Braille Multisensory Learning Kit
January 1, 2025 – January 1, 2025
• Designed a low-cost educational kit for children with visual impairments: 3D alphabet with Braille + NFC and an interactive electronic Braille cell device. • Evaluated at 94.4/100 on the SUS usability scale and 4.95/5 on the QUEST satisfaction scale, tested with visually impaired users.
Industrial Safety Signage Audit
April 1, 2024 – July 1, 2024
• Assessed and proposed improvements to safety signage in Electronics and Industrial Safety labs, applying INEN 439, ISO 3864, ISO 7010, and NFPA 70 standards. • Survey applied to 12 users; 5 critical deficiencies identified with documented recommendations.
AlexaCare Vital Signs Monitoring System
January 1, 2024 – January 1, 2024
• IoT system for continuous ECG and temperature monitoring for palliative care patients, integrated with a cloud database and Alexa voice interface. • My role: developed and configured the Alexa Skill, including the integration with a PostgreSQL database to respond to clinical queries by voice. • Stack: ESP32, Python, Arduino IDE, PostgreSQL, Alexa Developer Console.
Braille-to-Text Visual Translator (CNN)
January 1, 2024 – January 1, 2024
• Web application that recognizes photographed Braille configurations and translates them to text with audio feedback. Functional prototype with ~70% accuracy. • My role: CNN model training (1,080-image dataset, 27 letters) and web interface development with voice guidance for visually impaired users. • Tools: TensorFlow/Keras, FastAPI, Python, Google Colab.
