In this course we developed a 0.1g precision weighing scale while learning the basics of quality tools and methods, which includes six sigma, statistical thinking, tools for process improvement such as process mapping, and statistical process control. Through a team project, I was exposed to elements of industrial quality systems including manufacturing plans, QFD, validation tests, GRR and FMEA.
Loan Risk Analyzer

Performed data cleaning and imputation for missing data points for the instances. Computationally determine whether a person could pay the loan amount, based on several known input factors. We worked on different aspects of product development and testing of our product according to U.S. regulatory requirements such as market requirements, reimbursement strategy, product design, regulatory and clinical trials strategy, Where I worked on regulatory submission from FDA point of view and elements of industrial quality system such as validation tests, patent analysis and FMEA.
NLP Project for yelp review

Classified the reviews on yelp into two categories : 1 star or 5 star category. Used Multinomial Naive Bayes model to predict wether a review will be good or bad depending on the content of the review. Performed preprocessing steps such as tokenizing, removing stop words, stemming and word vectorizing. Used pythons NLTK library to perform preprocessing steps. Achieved following metrics: Accuracy=92% and Recall= 93%
Audio generation and LCD display of Hand Gestures

•Designed a circuit to help hearing impaired and mute individuals to communicate effective. •Implement an ATMEGA328 microcontroller-based system along with APR33A3. •Developed a device for which finger gestures were the input and these gesture where transmitted to Arduino Uno using RF encoder HT12E and RF decoder HT12D. •Developed the PCB for voice recorder circuit using Eagle Software. •Interfaced the LCD, voice recorder, RF module and the arduino uno using general purpose board. •Programmed the circuit using embedded C programming language in order to store the data in the arduino uno which was displayed on the LCD. •Technology stack: Arduino Uno.

Extracted the daily closing and opening indices of several public companies listen on www.bloomberg.com. Used Requests and Beautifulsoup libraries in python to get the html content and parse it to extract features. Pre-processed (text wrapped in header and class section of html ) the data to get cleaned text and integer type data which was appended to the csv file everyday automatically. CSV file was then read as a pandas dataframe to visualize the trend using matplotlib library.
