Senior Software Engineer
Senior Java Programmer/Analyst with over 15 years of development experience. During this time, I have been working with many frameworks and architectures, steadily strengthening my expertise in creating efficient and robust solutions to problems – and implementing them. Since my first years with Java, and throughout my career, I have always tried to stay in touch with new technologies, as it is one of my passions, and constantly use them to refactor and improve my code. I also earned an MBA in Project Management at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, to improve my understanding of project development, as well as helping me becoming a team leader. This demanding course is considered one of Latin America's best, at par with most international offerings. After that, around 2012, I started to work in the server side of multiplayer games, which put me in contact with other technologies related to multiplayer games, and where I eventually became the manager of the multiplayer team (server-side). In 2016 I accepted the challenge of moving to UK and became a senior backend developer for a major international gaming company, further enhancing my skills in server-side game development. In 2018 I accepted yet another challenge and joined the Research Data Management team at Elsevier in the Netherlands.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate has a long and consistent career path, primarily in backend development roles across different companies (Claro Brasil, Elsevier, King, Gazeus Games, Match Latam). The experience spans various industries (telecom, publishing, gaming, dating services), indicating adaptability. However, the target role is 'Frontend Developer', which is a significant pivot from the candidate's extensive backend experience. While some frontend frameworks (Angular, Backbone JS, Ember JS) are mentioned in older roles, the recent experience is heavily backend-focused. This misalignment with the target role suggests a potential cultural fit challenge for a dedicated frontend position.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's experience descriptions suggest a proactive approach to problem-solving (e.g., mitigating security alerts, replacing obsolete systems) and a focus on efficiency (saving money on storage, faster data ingestion). The team lead experience indicates leadership and collaboration potential. However, without specific psychometric test results, a detailed assessment of work attitude, stress handling, and team collaboration is not possible.
