Staff Engineer | ML Platform & Ops | AI, Data Science & Infrastructure Leader
I am a passionate technology leader specializing in Machine Learning (ML) Platforms and Operations, Data Science and AI. Over the years, I have built ML platforms and teams from the ground up, designed and implemented feature stores from scratch, developed orchestration and feature workflow management systems, and created AI-driven fraud detection solutions. More recently, I have leveraged large language models (LLMs) to build AI-driven risk and fraud detection systems, pushing the boundaries of how AI can enhance security and decision-making. My journey started in an early-stage startup, where I engineered software products from the ground up, working closely with the CEO and CTO. I quickly grew into a leadership role, leading teams of data scientists, full-stack engineers, and UX designers—all while staying hands-on with backend services and platform infrastructure. That experience shaped my passion for building scalable, high-impact AI solutions that drive real-world value. I thrive on solving complex challenges at the intersection of AI, ML, Data and Platform Infrastructure. Whether it's designing a robust ML platform, optimizing fraud detection pipelines, or orchestrating large-scale data workflows, I love building systems that are both scalable and intelligent. Beyond technology, I’m an avid learner, always staying ahead of the latest trends in AI and ML. And yes, I’m still a Chandler Bing fan - could I be any more excited about AI? Let’s connect and build the future together!

0-1 Knapsack Problem
March 1, 2016 – Present
Implemented the 0-1 Knapsack problem using the recurrence relation, which is a dynamic programming solution. The project efficiently finds the solution with recursively backtracking the items to choose for the knapsack.
Finding Core of a Tree
March 1, 2016 – Present
Designed and implemented an O(V + E) algorithm to find the core of a given tree T, which is undirected, connected and acyclic.
Unix Shell
February 1, 2016 – Present
This project required writing a small Unix shell program that supports job control, and few built-in commands.
GoldChase Multiplayer Game
January 1, 2016 – July 1, 2016
The game is developed using C++, distributed programming, and inter-process communications conceptsThis project uses of shared memory and semaphores to coordinate multiple processes. The game of Gold Chase involves 1-5 players moving around a map searching for gold. The map shows many potential locations for the gold, but only one location contains gold. The other locations contain fool's gold.
Driver Drowsiness Detection System
September 1, 2013 – April 1, 2014
The project is a Java application, implemented to warn drivers for drowsiness or fatigue. The application sets a user-defined threshold value(forehead position) and continuously monitors the threshold. The system alerts the driver when the forehead position is changed(distracted to be specific) and triggers certain events for accidents prevention.
Simple GUI Chat Application
August 1, 2012 – November 1, 2012
A simple GUI Java application that enables instant messaging in an intra-nework LAN environment. This project was developed for the interaction between students and faculties for educational purpose.
Automobile Management System
September 1, 2010 – April 1, 2011
Developed a VB .NET software application that eases the daily routines at an Automobile Shop, including database management, reports and records maintenance and inventory management. The application aimed at minimizing the manual business workload required at the Automobile Shop.

Cultural Fit Analysis
The candidate's project history shows a strong academic foundation in computer science fundamentals (OS, algorithms, data structures) and early interest in diverse applications (GUI, security, AI). Their professional experience is heavily concentrated in ML Platform development, which aligns with modern tech trends. The progression through various roles at Chime and Datatron indicates adaptability and growth within organizations. However, the projects listed are primarily personal/academic and lack recent, large-scale collaborative open-source contributions or community involvement, which might indicate a more focused, rather than broadly collaborative, approach. The target role of 'Backend Engineer' aligns well with their professional experience, but the depth of exposure to non-ML specific backend challenges is not explicitly detailed in the provided data.
Soft Skills & Operational Fit
The candidate's career progression from Software Engineer to Staff Software Engineer, including Lead and Engineering Manager roles, suggests strong leadership, project management, and potentially mentoring skills. Experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant also indicates an ability to explain complex concepts and assist others. The project descriptions, while brief, suggest problem-solving and analytical capabilities. However, without specific behavioral assessment data, a detailed analysis of stress handling, work attitude, and team collaboration is not possible.
