MELD-Plus is a risk score to assess severity of chronic liver disease. The score includes nine variables as effective predictors for 90-day mortality after a discharge from a cirrhosis-related admission. The variables include all Model for End-Stage Liver Disease (MELD)'s components, as well as sodium, albumin, total cholesterol, white blood cell count, age, and length of stay. MELD-Plus was created as a result of a collaboration between Massachusetts General Hospital and IBM.

Medical data mining is one of the critical aspect of automated disease diagnosis and disease prediction. Medical Data Diagnosis involves developing data mining algorithms and techniques to analyse medical data. In recent years, liver disorders have excessively increased and liver disease are becoming one of the most fatal diseases in several countries.

A COMBINED APPROACH OF SMOTE DATA BALANCING WITH DATA MINING ALGORITHMS FOR DETECTING CREDIT CARD FRAUD. Fraud detection method are Support Vector Machines(SVM), K-Nearest Neighbour algorithm(KNN). These techniques can be used alone or meta learning techniques to build classifiers. But amongst all existing method, ensemble learning methods are identified as populate and common method, not because of its quite straightforward implementation, but also due to its exceptional predictive performance on practical problems.
