Privacy Preserving Public Auditing for Re-generation Code Based Cloud Storage

Privacy preserving public auditing enhances cloud storage security. Regeneration codes aid in data recovery and integrity checks. This project focuses on securing data in the cloud. Proposed a novel public auditing solution for regenerating-code-based cloud storage, eliminating the burden on data owners to be continuously online for auditing and repair tasks, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency and practicality of the system. To solve the regeneration problem of failed authenticators in the absence of data owners, we introduce a proxy, which is privileged to regenerate the authenticators, into the traditional public auditing system model. Moreover, we design a novel public verifiable authenticator, which is generated by a couple of keys and can be regenerated using partial keys. Thus, our scheme can completely release data owners from online burden.
