In a multidisciplinary team of 4 science and 1 business student we aimed to design and implement a prototype of an intelligent website for helping tourists discover less crowded places of Amsterdam. The project was ran in collaboration of VU University, IAmsterdam and IBM. The website is capable to process users questions and communicate it in the adequate form to a pre-trained IBM Watson instance. In addition the Bluemix dialog service provides a comfortable form of the natural language interaction between human and machine. By training backend logic on historical data about the museums', bars', restaurants' crowdedness we can show and advise less busy attractions for tourists and balance overcrowded hours of Amsterdam's most frequent places. Beside the development the possible market of such an application was researched and so a significant demand on such a natural way of planning visits was found. As mentioned the live version is a prototype and works with a limited set of designed features inorder to showcase.
