The dataset used is a collection of headline and subject of articles which have appeared in New York Times. Extracted frequent terms from the articles using text mining packages in R. Using the extracted terms, network analysis and hierarchical clustering were performed. Built a network graph and a dendogram, showing how frequent terms are connected and clustered.

Built a machine learning model using CARET package in R, to predict the sales of different items in different outlets of Big mart retail company. The model was trained in the train data set and validated. The finely tuned model was later applied to an unseen test data set.
