Staff MLE @ Target | Driving ML Platforms & Personalization Systems | RecSys at Scale | MLOps
I’m a Staff-level Machine Learning Engineer working on large-scale personalization systems and ML platforms. At Target, I focus on driving architecture and standardization of ML systems, including core personalization and decisioning systems like Next Best Action (NBA) and org-wide MLOps convergence efforts. My work involves aligning teams on scalable patterns for building, deploying, and operating ML systems on GCP. Previously, I built real-time recommendation systems at InMobi/Glance serving 100M+ users, spanning ranking, bandits, and low-latency serving systems. I’m particularly interested in how ML systems evolve from individual solutions into shared platforms — enabling teams to move faster while maintaining reliability and consistency. I enjoy working at the intersection of: • Personalization & Recommendation Systems • ML Platforms & MLOps • Distributed Systems & Real-time Infrastructure Happy to connect on ML systems, platform design, and scaling ML in production. I also enjoy mentoring and sharing insights on ML engineering careers and programs like OMSCS — feel free to reach out.
